| Universal Chip & Veggie Dip … Universally Lovable | by Rhonda Burgin | This dip satisfies most everybody’s taste in dips. You can use it with chips or veggies. It is cream cheese and mayo based with onion chunks. Ingredients:
- 2 small tubs of cream cheese, hard or soft.
- 1/3 cup Miracle Whip, mayonnaise or substitute of your choice.
- 1 onion.
- 1 teaspoon mustard.
- 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce.
- Celery salt, salt, and ground pepper. Chop onions a bit chunkier than diced. |
You will be using a mixer, not a blender. Still the onions will end up chopped slightly smaller. You want the onions to still be chunky. |
Put onion chunks into mixing bowl. |
Put cream cheese from 2 small tubs (soft) or 2 foil wrapped (hard) boxed containers. I don’t use the more expensive brand name for this dip. |
Add one full spatula of Miracle Whip, mayonnaise or substitute of your choice. Looks like 1/3 cup but I didn’t measure. |
Add one teaspoon of mustard. |
Add one teaspoon of Worcestershire sauce. |
Use traditional mixer. Do not use a blender because you need the onions to remain chunky. |
After mixing I put more salt, pepper and celery salt on top for decoration. |
Put some back into a container to give to a friend. |
